A single micro-electrode is attached to a finger or palm. Fourier analysis of voltage and current waveforms provides a spectrum of impedance (Complex Electrodermal Response or CEDR). This is used to assess stress or changes in stress levels. Continuous assessment of stress is important under battlefield conditions and in pilots, truck drivers and for other critical occupations.
